Joyce Elson Moore, a Florida native, keeps in touch with readers and other authors by making frequent appearances and giving workshops on the craft of writing, most recently to the National RWA conference in Orlando. More recently, she has participated in library seminars involving NaNoWriMo participants and various author fairs. Her writing has won numerous awards, most recently taking a First Place in Published Romance category of the Royal Palm Literary Awards sponsored by the Fla. Writers Assn. 2009 conference. This same book, Jeanne of Clairmonde , garnered a 4-Star review from Romantic Times. Her latest release, The Tapestry Shop, an historical novel, was released in October 2010 by Five Star/Gale, and already has received rave reviews. The novel is based on the life of Adam de la Halle whose secular play, Robin et Marion, was the precursor to the legend of Robin Hood.
