Polly Whitney (1948-) taught English at a Miami prep school in the late 1980's. She was nominated for the Agatha Award, best first novel category, in 1994, for Until Death, and was nominated for a Macavity Award in 2007 for best short story for "Etiquette Lesson" published in Murderous Intent Mystery Magazine. Whitney has two mystery series, the Ike & Abby series which is set in NYC, and the Farewell series, set in the Florida Keys.
