Roger Bansemer (1948-) graduated from the of Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Bansemer's career as an artist covers a wide spectrum, from earlier abstract works to the present day representational paintings of landscapes, shorebirds, wildlife, beachscapes, and nautical themes. Bansemer has published eight books featuring his paintings. Bansemer has been the guest of two expeditions to the Titanic wreck site and is the first artist ever to have made paintings while in a three person submersible hovering over the bow of Titanic. He has also logged over 700 flights as a hot-air balloonist. Bansemer and his wife, Sarah travel the U.S. working on a TV series called Painting on Location with Roger Bansemer.
