Tananarive Due has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University and an M.A. in English literature from the University of Leeds, England. Due is a journalist and a novelist. She is a former columnist for the Miami Herald. Due has also performed with the Rock Bottom Remainders, a rock band that includes Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson and Stephen King. Due also contributed to Naked Came the Manatee, a comic thriller written by thirteen southern writers. Due lives in Southern California with her husband, novelist and screenwriter Steven Barnes.
